Do you feel lost or maybe overwhelmed? Don’t be. Freshman year is just like any other year of school, if you make it that way.

I have a few tips to give you to help you make it through this year.

Homework
Do your absolute best at staying on top of your homework. I keep a planner, and I have for all four years of high school. This may help you stay organized and a little less stressed out. Also, when you are given an assignment that is due within a few days, don’t wait till the last minute. Whether it is easy or not, that is never a good idea. Try to get at least a portion of it done within the days you have, that way you won’t struggle the night before it is due.

Friends
I advise you to keep the friends you have always had, especially if they are attending this school year with you. Whenever you feel lost or overwhelmed, they will always be the ones to help you out. However, new friends are always great. They may bring a new adventure upon you. You will create many memorable memories here. This will start with your friends by your side.

Fun
Remember to make the most out of your high school years. They go by in the blink of an eye. Go to as many pep rallies, football games, and dances as you can. They are all worth it. Make memories and do great things. Always be yourself.
