Why have an apple when you can have a burger? There are more than 13,000 McDonald’s restaurants in the United States itself, and there are over 8000 KFCs in 80 countries, this shows the popularity of fast food all over the world.
Food that is prepared under quick circumstances is defined as “fast food”. This type of foods fit in perfectly in the lifestyle of a busy person who doesn’t always have time to sit down and enjoy a wholesome meal. Those who are against fast food focus on the negatives of how bad it is for you and how it is prepared. Despite all the debate about rather fast food is good for you or not, read this article and tell me you opinions.
The most known advantage of eating fast food is it saves time.There is nothing better than getting a meal that all you have to do is sit down and eat it. The time you have to spend in the kitchen, cooking the meal, or going to the grocery store you could be using more wisely. Besides saving time fast food also saves money. If you are a student, unemployed or just on a budget fast food can come in very handy. These low prices have caused suspicion of what the ingredients in the food are and what the nutritional value in the food is. Fast food may raise some health concerns, but if your careful you can find some options on the menu of a fast restaurant that are healthier. Most corporations such as McDonald’s and Chic-Fil-A have nutrition facts on their website.
Even if what they are serving us is not as healthy as we think, fast food is supposed to be a quick meal not an everyday meal. If your lifestyle is already unhealthy you can’t blame fast food because you are gaining weight. So before you go saying fast food is the reason you cant fit into your wedding dress, or run the trail without loosing breathe ask yourself how is my lifestyle? If you ask me I would rather choose a baconator over a salad any day as long as I know when to stop eating unhealthy.
